Erika Schulz, MEd, ATR
Erika Schulz is an art therapist registered with the Art Therapy Credentials Board. She has worked or practiced in a variety of clinical experiences, including mental health offices, memory care and independent living communities, oncology, and children’s clinics. She graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Crafts with a Concentration in Art Therapy from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. She then continued her education, receiving her Master of Education in Art Therapy from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
Prior to her experience as an art therapist, Erika also worked in early childhood education and private art classes.

You do not have to be an artist! Anyone can participate in art therapy. Art therapists are trained to meet the needs of a vast variety of people. It is not about the product, but rather the process.

In order to provide you with the lowest out of pocket cost, we currently do not have a studio. Sessions may be held virtually or in-home (we come to you!)

At this time, no. Ruby Creative Therapy is solely a private-pay practice. This allows us freedom in treatment plans, without the barriers of authorizations, limits, diagnoses, and preset requirements for therapeutic goals. We provide complete personalization to fit your needs as an individual.
